Cookie Policy

This site uses a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies. Non-essential categories (Google Analytics audience measurement, the LinkedIn tag, chat) load only after you agree, in the banner. A few third-party services work without that agreement, because they set no tracking cookie: they are described below.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file of letters and numbers stored on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember your actions and preferences.

Why we use cookies

To keep the site secure, remember your cookie choices, measure how the site performs and improve your experience.

Categories

• Strictly necessary. Always active. Required for security and to remember your cookie choices. No consent required.
• Analytics. Disabled by default. Aggregated usage metrics via Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation. This data is processed by Google LLC, outside Canada. Loaded only with your consent.
• Advertising. Disabled by default. The LinkedIn Insight Tag, which measures how our campaigns perform and lets us show you our content again on LinkedIn. This data is processed by LinkedIn, outside Canada. Loaded only with your consent.
• Live chat. Disabled by default. Enables the Canada-based support chat widget. Loaded only with your consent.

These three categories concern this marketing site only. They do not apply to the FortaRisks platform: your application data stays hosted in Canada, with a Canadian operator, and is never sent to any of these services.

Third-party services that do not depend on the banner

• Cloudflare. This site's traffic goes through Cloudflare, which relays and protects it. The site cannot work without it.
• Anti-bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile). It protects the forms. It only loads when you start filling in a form, never when you simply read a page.
• Cookieless audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics). It counts page views with no cookie, no identifier and no tracking from one site to another.
• Booking calendar (Google Calendar). On the Demo page, it only loads once you send your request, when you click “Request my slot”.

Attribution measurement

When you arrive on this site from a campaign, we keep that campaign's name in your browser's session storage, so we know where a request you send us came from. No identifier, no cookie: it is only attached to forms you choose to send us. It is then kept with your request (see the Privacy Policy). In your browser, it disappears when you close the tab.

We do not fingerprint visitors and we set no non-essential third-party cookies without consent.

Managing your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time from the cookie banner. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
